These brand new La Cantina doors in Del Mar, Ca became scratched during their first cleaning.  No one onsite is sure how the damage got there or who did it, but this definitely looks like it was cleaned way to aggressively.

Regardless, when you have a home with a beautiful view and a luxury door system to see it through, the last thing you want is for it to be covered with scratches.

Hopeful that there would be a company out there who could remove the scratches, the builder began searching online. Most importantly the end result absolutely needed to be free from optical distortion or haze that shows up in the direct sunlight of the late afternoon/early evening hours.

Finding someone eager to take a stab at this wasn’t too difficult.  Finding someone capable enough to guarantee to remove the scratches without leaving behind distortion, swirls, haze, not so much.

Glass Savers was chosen to resurface the scratched glass here because of the need for the end result to be as close to perfect as humanly possible, the first time.

Mission accomplished.
